The charity is called Alice, named after the Nana of Stephanie Talbot (Alice Charity’s Chief Executive). She was a fantastic lady who loved her family unconditionally and showed compassion to her comm…unity- an inspirational person all-round.
Family life can be a struggle these days, with redundancies on the increase and the cost of living sky high. Many local families are struggling through it alone, going without some of life’s basic needs and unable to provide the safe and loving environment they want for their family.
The variety of projects range from weekly support groups to purchasing cookers and furniture. Anything you can do to help will be much appreciated, even if it’s just coming along to one of the events to show your support!
How can you help
Alice Charity are always looking for people to help with fundraising or helping with one of their projects – contact them for more information.
Alternatively, you can help them out with one of their many events.
You could even organise your own event such as a coffee morning or village fete or if you’re more adventurous – run a marathon or climb a mountain! Whatever or whenever the event – the Alice Charity can support you. Their Fundraising Pack includes an online Just Giving donations page, an Alice t-shirt, a text giving code and posters. Not to mention – lots of support and encouragement along the way!
You can donate anything from money to equipment.
