We are looking for a family paralegal to be based at our office in Newcastle under Lyme

We are considering Law graduates only for this role.
Your role shall be to support our Family department with a wide range of administrative and legal tasks.
Your duties will include maintaining the client records to ensure information is up to date and complete, taking notes during client meetings, communicating with clients and professionals by phone and email, drafting letters and documents, preparing court bundles and assisting counsel at court hearings.
We are a small growing business built on firm foundations. This is a great opportunity to join a genuinely supportive team and be at the heart of all of the legal services that we offer. We currently have 3 fully qualified lawyers in the Family Team – Ann McCabe, Sarah Longley and Jemma Wentworth We have 5 trainee solicitors, some of whom will be qualified by the end of 2026. A paralegal will be needed to support our growing team.

Summary
Start date: September 2026
Minimum qualifications: 2.1 honours degree in Law (or predicted grade)
Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary: £26437 per annum
Location: Newcastle under Lyme
Pension: Legal and General
Holidays: 25 days per year plus bank holidays, a day on or around your birthday and Christmas Eve when it does not fall on a weekend.
